# 00074 :  Prayer Requests
Since we've been enjoying thoughts about prayer, I thought it might be nice if we shared a few prayer requests. I think it would be encouraging to know that other christians from around the world are praying with us! I have 2 special prayer requests to pass along: (1) We had 2 new children in our Sunday School today - Brittany (12 years old) and Dawson (7 years old). They come from a very sad family and it was wonderful to see them today. Of course, we are praying that they will keep coming and praying for their salvation. (2) Caroline (a lady from work) for her salvation. Thanks so much! I'm looking forward to hearing other prayer requests and praying together with you! :) Christian Love, Elaine

Just an update for those of you praying for Dawson & Brittany. Their mother is unable to care for them and they are currently in the care of their Aunt. There is the possibility that they will be taken into the home of a christian lady.

The court date is this month and we are praying, Lord Willing, that the christian lady may be allowed to care for Brittany & Dawson.

Another christian woman was able to talk to Brittany on Sunday and tell her that even when she has no one else in her life, the Lord knows all about her & loves her so much!

I'm asking for your prayers in a special way. They really need love and most of all salvation!

Thanks so much! It is wonderful to know that christians from around the world are praying with us!

Christian Love,

Elaine

Good news!

Just an update on Brittany and Dawson. Brittany has been approved to spend the summer with the family we were hoping she would be with! Hopefully the paperwork will be done by the end of the summer that will allow her to stay with them permanently.

Now if we could pray that the Lord's will be done as far as Dawson. It would be wonderful if he could be with this family as well!

And a little update on Caroline - just last week she mentioned that it must be wonderful to have faith in God and we got to chat about salvation again! Please continue to pray! I think the Lord is speaking to her and it would be thrilling if she got saved!

Thank you for your prayers!

Elaine

Dear Elaine,

Your perseverance in this exercise is encouraging and yet humbling. God is the one who answers the prayers of His children and you are proving it. He surely wants us to prove this truth as part of our normal Christian lives and your exercises show how important it to persevere like Jacob who refused to let Him go until he received a blessing.

Surely we will support you in your prayers!

Your brother in Christ,

John

Dear Brethren
Many parts of Kerala especially Kumbanad, Pathanamthitta, Ranny etc are afflicted by a peaculiar Viral Plague. It is quite long since it has started and spread. Many brethren too are suffering.
Please pray so that the epidemic will be contained.

Dear Kumbanadan,

Thank you for your information. Although we are more or less on the other side of the world and have no knowledge of the places that you mention, we will remember our brethren in prayer. If one member suffers, we all suffer.

Your brother in Christ,

John
