# 07623 :  The correct version of the BIBLE to follow

Dear Brothers

I would Like to know which version of the BIBLE would be the right one to follow. The close one to the authentic version. Since every year we find so may new version with modifications in it. So many verse diluted and meaning changed, verses omited.

It s so hard as you may find people following different versions but without knowing what they follow. In the confussion if you get a bible that is totaly changing the view point meanings are twisted how can a simple person know what he follows is right.

Please let me know.

Dear 'vjosewin,'

No one could say which one version is the "coorect" one.  The versions that are closer to the original language are KJV, ESV, JND etc.  Then you may also find some 'Study Bibles.'  Usally, the Study Bibles are KJV with the authors notes.

There are Bibles that are paraphrased and they may vary from the original languages.

Shalom Malekim!!!.

Dear VJ You probably bought a bible by now, I hope. :-) If you are buying a study bible, try John MacArthurs study bibles. He has them in NKJV, NASB and ESV. If you are not too accustomed to using KJV, then ESV should serve you best. -Muthoor
