# 07730 :  LORDSHIP SALVATION & NON-LORDSHIP SALVATION.

Can anyone Kindly explain which of these two theological position is Scriptural. Do both of these systems have some unscriptural baggage attached with them?

From where did you get this baggage? In scripture there is nothing like Lordship salvation or non-lordship baggage.

Salavation in expalined in John 1:12, John 3:16 and Roman 10:9. Please read

Well; the scripture may not say explicitly say as stated by the person who asked the question. However there was lots of discussion on the so called subject and they were led by none other than theologians of this day; 20 years ago. The subject also may not be exactly as addressed in question especially the term “non-lordship”. In the recent history one side was discussed by Dr. John Macarthur [Lordship salvation] and the other “Grace alone” [there are also other terms used] by Dr. Zane C Hodges. You can easily Google these and find some answers and for details on positional arguments read from their books.

ALSO; plesee see the below link on some descriptions of "Lordship Salvation":

I can't find a real description of Grace Alone - from Hodges perspective, but here is some on his statements in Wiki- which is just not reliable.  But His books are the best sources.
