It's Christmas time again. I guess this is the best time to put forward a question?
What do you think about Christmas? I have been told from childhood that Dec 25th was declared as the birthday of the Lord by people and not stated in the Bible. The Lord has never asked us to remember his birthday, only his sufferings. We never had, nor do we have Christmas celebrations.
However as I grew up, I've seen so many Christians, especially our brethren in the West celebrate this day - exchanging presents, remembering the greatest present that God has given Man - Christ himself.
I would really like to know if there's anything wrong in celebrating Christmas. (I'm not talking about the way the world celebrates-being drunk.)
I would appreciate to know your views on this.
In His grace
I think many Brethren/Pente people who came to America has been against Christmas. Because we tried to keep our selves separate from the rest of Christians. But now we realize that we should stand strong with many of the other Christians by helping them keep Christ in Christmas.
