# 01345 :  Hello Major Kumar !!!!!!!
Dear Major Kumar,

It has been sometime since I have seen you on this forum. It is true that the atmosphere on the forum had been less than ideal in proclaiming Christian love. But you had been on my mind and in my frequent prayers. More than any other day I was compelled in my mind to pray for you today and I believe it was God who brought that to my mind. After constant prayers, during and after the church services, I thought of making this posting. I am not even sure you would see it, but I trust that God would accomplish His will on you, either through this or through some other means.

God created man and longed to have close fellowship with man. But man fell into sin and was unable to keep that fellowship. So, between God and man there is a chasm and man cannot by his efforts approach God. Man and God stood afar.

God wanted to reestablish the lost fellowship. The only way He could accomplish it was by bridging that gap. Man stood on the other side totally helpless. God demanded perfect holiness without which no one can be in his presence. Man was totally unholy. But God designed a plan for man to reach God. For this God provided a bridge in the form of Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ never committed any sin and God found Him to be sinless. Because God loved the world and the people He made this provision. He allowed Jesus Christ to die on the cross in place of me and you. Because someone died on my / your behalf, the ultimate penalty for my/ your sin was thus paid by that death.

Now God is asking me/ you to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as my substitution for my sins. As soon as I trust in Jesus Christ God would accept me as sinless and He would receive me. The gap is now bridged. It happens at the very moment you trust in Jesus Christ. Once you trust in Him, God will never allow you to be lost ever again. You are safe in Godís hand for ever and ever.

God doesnít give multiple choices for a person to get to Him. The only way is through Jesus Christ, because He is the only One who God accepted as the substitution. Men crucified Jesus Christ; but men were fulfilling Godís ultimate purpose, by giving us this way to Him. God raised Jesus from the dead. He came to life and out of the tomb and after few days He was taken to heaven.

Before he left this earth Jesus Christ promised to return for the second time. When He comes back He would be the King and the Judge. The basis of His judgment would be whether a person accepted this way of salvation that God provided through His own (Jesus Christ) death on the cross carrying his/ her sins.

It is my continued prayer that you would come to know Lord Jesus Christ and spend your eternity with Him. God has done everything for you. There is nothing you can add to it except accept it. God doesnít want anyone going to hell. We have a loving God who made that (way to heaven) possible.

Even though I addressed this to Major Kumar, the truth is applicable to anyone who reads this. If I knew your name I could have addressed to you. Please accept this as a personal invitation from God; I am just a bearer of this good news. I am like a beggar who found the bounty and now telling others also where they can find it. My email Ė tomj3162000@yahoo.com. Is there anything specifically I can pray for you?

Regards,

Tom J

Major Kumar is absent from the moderated forum contrary to JCP's exalted claims. He got tired of the lacklustre conversations in there which are even more stifling than in here. If you are genuinely interested in him, you should have taken down his email address which he published on this forum in a discussion some time ago and you can write to him directly.

Would you like Major Kumar's email address which I have with me? You might want to email him.
However, I doubt that a thinking person like him will respond easily to the approach you have taken to get him to be converted.

John Kurien,

Thank you for your offer. But I respect the privacy of individuals, so let me decline for now. (BTW my email address is listed above, just incase.)

I can never convert anyone; I hope will never even dream of converting anyone. But God has been doing it marvelously throughout the generations and only 'thinking people' have ever been converted so far. So I am glad you included Major Kumar in that group; yet another reason to continue praying & and thanks for the encouragement.

Regards,

Tom J

Not only Major Kumar, but many others are also purposely avoiding this forum. Visits rarely, then with a sigh, quietly leave.

I am sure the webmasters began this forum with a very good intention, which we can still use wisely for the benefit of God's people, alas, misused by many.

May the Lord in His Grace and kindness use this for His glory and for the edification of the 'brethren'.

Please, do not take it as a response to any individual, but just a general observation.

Brother Nelson
People avoid this forum because they find that they are not really welcome and only these so-called "brethren" (who think that spouting proof texts is edification)are welcome - the others are always treated as second class citizens.
What do you have to say about that?
